MIT book on Open Education

I was made aware of this book by the MIT on “Opening Up Education: The Collective Advancement of Education through Open Technology, Open Content, and Open Knowledge” from the OLPC-sur (One Laptop Per Child, South America) mailing-list. Just click on the link to download it.

I haven’t had time to read it yet, I just scanned it to try and find “Dokeos” in there but didn’t :-) I found Moodle, but only once and to mention that the solution didn’t match the need of the studied case.

However, I learnt of the Bodington LMS which I had *never* heard of. It’s incredible how a bit of curiosity can bring you to such extreme discoveries… anyway, no time to read it completely now as I’m preparing 1.8.6 for you, so I’m taking a note of the link on my blog. Hope it helps.
